I want to hang a large screen on a plasterboard partition wall. Is this frame suitable for that?

We do not recommend such a solution without proper preparation. Due to the high weight of the supported TVs and the forces acting when extending the arm, installation of the SPET57 model should be carried out on solid walls, such as concrete or solid brick. Installation on a standard plasterboard wall would require prior preparation of special structural reinforcements.

I have electrical sockets exactly in the middle of the wall where the TV is supposed to hang. Will the mounting plate cover them?

The mount design allows you to easily avoid this problem. Spacetronik SPET57 has a two-piece wall plate that leaves free space in the central part. Thanks to this, you can safely route power and signal cables without the need to modify the electrical installation.

What if I drill the holes in the wall slightly crooked? Will the whole TV hang at an angle?

No, you will avoid drilling into the wall again. The mount has a built-in level correction function of up to 20 mm, which can be used after the TV has already been hung. Simply loosen the appropriate screws on the mounting arms and precisely level the screen.

I care about the TV lying almost flat against the wall after folding. How much space does this mechanism take up?

After the arms are fully folded, the distance between the TV and the wall is only 37 millimeters. This is an exceptionally slim result for a mount with such a high load capacity, which makes it easier to arrange the living room aesthetically. However, it is worth remembering that the final visual effect also depends on the shape of the rear housing of your TV.

I have a TV with a curved screen. Can it be safely mounted on this frame?
